PATCHWORK AFFAIR — AFTER DARK
The same panelled construction, cut sharper and finished dark.
Against the same cut in new denim.
Reclaimed cotton denim, hand-finished. Each piece is cut from cloth that only existed once, so measurements vary by up to half an inch — message us and we will measure the exact piece before it ships.
Wash cold, inside out, rarely. Line dry. Denim improves with neglect. Reclaimed cloth has already been through one life, so treat it gently and it will see out a second.
Dispatched from Ahmedabad. 14 days to return anything unworn. One-of-one pieces can be returned but not exchanged — there is no second one.
Made to be mended. Denim is patched, panelled and reinforced by hand, so a worn knee or a tear is something these clothes are built to take rather than be defeated by. Repair is the whole point: half of what we build is made from denim someone else gave up on.
The detail
Every piece is cut from denim that already had a life, so the seams are where reclaimed panels meet. We make those joins visible rather than hiding them — the patch that does not match is the design.
MADE TO BE MENDED.
Denim that's already had one life deserves a long second one. Every piece is built to be repaired rather than replaced — the patch, the join, the second stitch are part of the design, not a failure of it.
